Emails sent by us are intended exclusively for the designated recipient. Their content is confidential and constitutes legally protected communication between lawyer and client. Please note that any form of disclosure, publication, reproduction or forwarding of the content of such emails is prohibited without the prior consent of the sender. If you are not the designated recipient, please contact the sender of the email immediately.

For technical and/or operational reasons, the receipt of email communication may be disrupted and/or may not reach the recipient in a timely manner. Therefore, sending emails to us does not have any effect on the observance of deadlines and cannot set any legally binding deadlines. We recommend that you also send time-critical or urgent messages by post, courier or fax. If you want to be sure that your email has been received correctly, please request a written confirmation of receipt from the recipient.

We take all reasonable precautions to prevent the risk of computer viruses being transmitted. However, we are not liable for any damage caused by computer viruses. Please check for computer viruses yourself before reading emails, especially before opening email attachments.

Communication via email is not secure, as there is always the possibility of third parties gaining access to and manipulating the information. We therefore recommend that you do not send any confidential data unencrypted via email. Please inform your contact person immediately if you or your employer do not wish to communicate between lawyer and client via email.

If you would like to send us encrypted emails, we will be happy to provide you with our public key. You will need PGP encryption software (e.g. PGP or GnuPG). If you would also like to receive encrypted emails from us, please provide us with your public key at the same time.
